Dr. Michael Kent

 

Michael Kent is a building science researcher at the University of Singapore and University of California, Berkeley, where he studies the ways that light impacts our health, comfort, and behavior.  In this episode, we learn about the importance of natural light and discover how the glare from uncontrolled light can hamper our ability to perform complex tasks. We also learn about the importance of view, and we get some understanding of how we are now measuring the quality of views in the built environment.
