Blaine Brownell
Blaine Brownell is an architect and the Director of the David R. Ravin School of Architecture at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, where he studies emerging materials and sustainable building technologies. This is our most forward-looking episode! Blaine explores the new materials and techniques that will reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and material that ends up in landfills, while simultaneously allowing us to create healthier buildings for occupants. Blaine also shares his well-informed opinions on the lack of design in “green design”.
